Come see us at ALOC's Party of the Year

LSPAC will be performing as classic Alice in Wonderland characters throughout Art League of Ocean City's Party of the Year! Things will get curiouser and curiouser when you join all of us down the rabbit hole.

Honoring the Memory of Hob Mason

Dear Lower Shore Performing Arts Company community,

It is with great sadness that I inform you of the passing of Hob Mason, community supporter extraordinaire.

He fought a valiant battle against ALS. Hob passed August 3.

This photo captures the energy and positivity of a group of outstanding individuals who helped to expand the performing arts in our community in 2016 in forming the Lower Shore Performing Arts Company.

Hob, thank you for your time, talent and support to achieve this.

LSPAC continues to provide theatrical experiences and education to the eastern shore. We have realized our vision of bringing live performing arts to the community.

We have developed partnerships in Crisfield and Ocean City within the arts community; perform on the wonderful stage of the North Street Playhouse in Onancock and reinvigorated our relationship with the Marva Theater. Dinner theater experiences with local organizations add to the palette of performance.

Once again, thank you Hob for all your support in developing this company and paving the way for its achievements.

Please keep his family in your prayers.

Godspeed Hob!

Very respectfully,

Kathryn E Redden

President's Message May 8, 2024

Hello,

I am Christopher Jestin, President of the Lower Shore Performing Arts Company. I have spent 6 years involved with this group of talented people. I have been able to perform in productions such as:

2018 I portrayed Mr. Bennett in Pride and Prejudice, and a Reverand in The Importance of Being Earnest.

2019 A Christmas Pudding

2021 An Antebellum Christmas - An Online fund-raising video for the Costen House in Pocomoke, MD.

2022 The Good Doctor

2022/2023 The Thin Man Radio Series

2023 Broadway Love Songs in which I performed in Who's on First as Lou Costello with my great acting side kick Bud Abbott aka Jeff Smith.

I changed from acting to the technical side of the performances doing sound and lighting for: 2023 Gilligan's Island: The Musical

2024 Just Go to the Movies: Academy Award Winning Songs - A Musical Tribute, The Thin Man, and finally Goosebumps: The Musical "Phantom of the Auditorium."

All this to say, it is time to pass the sound and lighting operations down to the younger ones.

I want to thank all of the actors I have worked with over the past 6 years.

And to thank all of the "you", the wonderful people who came to see our productions.

On May 19th I will officially become retired and spend my time and energy with family and friends.

Respectfully,

Christopher Jestin
